How the Shavuot Learnathon works

It’s easy! You help those affected by the recent traumatic attack at the Mercaz HaRav High School by sponsoring the members of your shule or school for the time they spend learning during the first night of Shavuot.

Here’s how:

1. Sponsor a student or congregant: Students or congregants may have approached you to sponsor them, or alternatively approach your local school or shule and offer to sponsor their Tikun Leil program (perhaps possibly setting them a goal for total hours learnt by their members)
2. Donate: Donations can be made online, via phone or mail and are fully tax-deductible in the United States, Canada and Israel. Please specify that you would like your donation to go towards the Shavuot Learnathon, and on the form please also specify the person or organisation that you are sponsoring.
3. Rewards: As a big ‘thank you’ for assisting with the Shavuot Learnathon, we will send you a receipt that is tax-deductible in Israel, the US and Canada.

Not only is it a great feeling to encourage students or congregants to learn Torah and at the same time earn great rewards in Olam Hazeh and Olam Habah; but you also help change the lives of young students affected by terror.
